IBM Announces New Rebate Offer—Up to $68,000!
Effective May 3, 2005, IBM has updated its popular ServerProven rebate program with a new offer that can provide you with a rebate of up to $68,000 ($85,000 Canadian) if you acquire a qualifying new ServerProven solution, such as Bytware’s MessengerPlus, MessengerConsole, StandGuard, StandGuard Anti-Virus, StandGuard Recycle Bin, and PeekPlus.

PTF Available for SkyTel Customers Using Messenger
Bytware has released a PTF that corrects issues with replying to SkyTel pages using MessengerPlus and MessengerConsole. Messenger users with current support contracts can download the PTF from Support Central using the following link. (A valid Messenger support ID and password is required.)

Bytware Receives District ADDY Award, Competes in Nationals
After winning three Silver ADDY Awards in the Northern Nevada competition, Bytware has won an additional Silver ADDY at the American Advertising Federation’s District 14 competition, which took place March 30 - April 1 at South Lake Tahoe, California. Bytware was awarded a District ADDY for its “Get a Clue” game pieces that tie into the Great Security Caper game, a centerpiece of the company’s 2004 marketing campaign.

Alexander Zenta Wins the Drawing for the Apple iPod!
The Great Security Caper, which was played out on the website of the fictional newspaper “The Houston Record,” has wrapped and Alexander Zenta was the winner of the Apple iPod for correctly identifying the data thief. Recording Screens to an Output File with PeekPlus

With PeekPlus, the PEEK command allows you to document the screen contents of another interactive job and to send the screens to a file or printer. SGAV 5.31 Upgrade Provides New McAfee Scanning Engine
In keeping up with the increasingly rapid proliferation of new viruses, McAfee has recently enhanced protection by moving to daily DAT updates. Accompanying this move is a newly enhanced scanning engine that is required for handling these larger DAT files; and a free upgrade to SGAV 5.31 is required to ensure that your system can handle these new DATs.

Extended Security Caper Welcomes Your Accusations
We’ve extended the Great Security Caper into this year to allow everyone extra time to read the stories and find the clues. Now, on Tuesday, March 15, the final chapter will be put into place and the floor opened up for accusations. When the data thief is revealed on April 5, someone will take home an Apple iPod.
